The Greatest Books of British Columbia
What are British Columbia’s greatest books of all time? If you were to consider the question, what would your answer be?

Would it be a work of inarguable literary merit? Something by Audrey Thomas, P.K. Page or Jack Hodgins? Would it be one of the books that have been linked to British Columbia’s roots, like British Columbia Coast Names or the original Raincoast Chronicles? Maybe it would be a book that has enjoyed considerable commercial success outside of Canada: a book many readers wouldn’t necessarily associate with British Columbia, like something by Jack Whyte or Dan Kalla. Or maybe it would be something by Emily Carr, George Woodcock or someone else whose life and work are inextricably linked to the province’s rich history?

The Greatest 100 Books of British Columbia edited by Linda L. Richards and David Middleton will be published fall 2014. The only thing missing right now is your voice.
